Many thanks to those who attended our AGM and Cheese & Wine Evening last night.  It was lovely to see so many of you there.
We will be having a normal PTFA Meeting to plan events for the this year so please look out for details of this.
The following form four people were elected at the AGM last night and form the committee and trustees of Shaftesbury Abbey CE VA Primary School PTFA.

Chair –   Sarah Adams

Treasurer – Katie Pyke

Secretary – Elena Nicoara  

The following roles within the PTFA were agreed:-

Teacher Rep – Lorraine Stone 

Governor Rep – Michael Salisbury 

Raffle Co-Ordinator – Lucy Hobbs

Reception – Beth Harris 

Year 1 – Kerry O’Connor, Helen Caines and Nicky Willoughby 

Year 2 – Kerry McKiernan 

Year 3 – Katie Pyke

Year 4 – Sally Garrett 

Year 5 – Roxanne Gale and Katie Snow 

Year 6 – Rachael Franklin  

We will be arranging to have photos of everyone displayed, so you can put a face to a name (if you don’t know them already)

We hold lots of events in the year for both sociable and fundraising purposes.  We hold a Christmas and Summer Fair, fashion shows, sponsored events, working parties in the school grounds and all sorts of fun! Some of our recent purchases include:-
* Lets get cooking club ingredients
* iPads together with docking stations and programmes and devices
* Chalk Valley History Festival trip for Yr 6
* 12 Ukuleles
Our major project continues to be helping provide IT equipment for the school and also the development of the stomping ground.
We are also excited to re-launch our 100 club, please see a member of the PTFA Committee. If you would like to join the 100 club and win £30 a month please contact our secretary Sarah Adams via the PTFA email
