This years theme was \\\'What I want to be when I grow up\\\'.

We raised £171 for MOSAIC a bereavement charity for children.

Much fun was had at the Summer Fair!

Year 5 spent a day at Higher Green Farm being creative.

We all dressed up as wild animals and raised money for the WWF to support endangered species.

We celebrated by planting a tree and eating lots of cakes.

This year the theme was 'Cartoon Characters'. There were three winners in each Year group.

The children dressed up as their favourite book characters for the day.

A great time was had by all who attended the KS1 & KS2 New Year Discos in January.

Our annual Easter Egg competition was well supported with 113 entries overall. There was a first, second and third prize award out of each year group.

Nationally acclaimed ventriloquist Marc Griffiths came to Abbey as part of our Study of World War One, bringing his unique and highly entertaining show to teach us about the role of animals in the war.

We had a lovely day dressing up in various carnival costumes.

During our WW1 week we visited Dorchester museum and The Keep.

On the last day of term the teaching staff prepared lunch for the whole school!
