Scottish and Southern Community Volunteers are thanked by the School Council after resurfacing our path
We do count ourselves lucky to have such a talented and supportive parent body and community…our PTFA supports us in so many ways, helping to bring you the new website for example. James Thrift, who many of you may know as the Dorset MacMan, has been a constant source of help and advice as we’ve developed the new site. Thank you James! Many thanks to Mr Garrett Judd of Signrite for his patience and advice with the new school signage and to Mr Christian Nicoara for carrying out carpentry over the summer. We were fortunate to benefit from free labour from a Scottish and Southern Power community scheme. Four of their men resurfaced the path in time for another winter. Many thanks to the school staff, many of whom worked throughout the summer holiday to make sure school was ready following building works. The football team are looking great in new shorts and socks- donated generously by James Page-Chatton of wirefr3.com. Financial donations have been received from charities including The Robert Dixon Charitable Trust and from a private individual, enabling us to order some fantastic new dining room furniture, the first of which should be here in the next few weeks. We are most grateful to all those people and organisations who support us.
